Wings Of Route 66
Cory Leick
Artist Statement
Going on a cross-country road trip is a magical thing: you can go directly from your own home to far-flung iconic spaces across the country, all in your own family car. It’s not only the destination, of course, but the journey itself that creates those magical memories. With my design, I wanted to highlight the beautiful roadside wildflowers and birds travelers can see as they journey along Route 66 through the Missouri Ozarks.
