About the Program

Visit Springfield is excited to unveil the Springfield 66: Centennial Sculpture Series in collaboration with Heidi Herman-Bacon, director of The Springfield 66 Project. The citywide public art initiative brings new life to Springfield through installations celebrating the 100th anniversary of Route 66 and the city’s role as its birthplace. These pieces tell diverse stories, bringing communities together to explore and engage with them.
